Getting Closer….

Yesterday we went to the Economic Development office and found out that they are currently reviewing our proposal.  We are hopeful to hear back from them within the next couple of days and then we’ll make the corrections which they require of us and resubmit.   Please pray that this process goes smoothly and quickly.  After Economic Development we have one more stop in the Addis Ababa Office of Women and Children…and then the project will be ready to start.

Along the way an Executive Director has been hired, named Alayu.  Alayu is a friend of ours whom we’ve known for about 3 years – and whom some of you have gotten to meet and love along the way, too. A Social Worker named Sisay has also been hired.  He is an incredible young man whom we feel so blessed to have on the Embracing Hope team, especially since social workers play such a key role in the ways we will serve vulnerable families.

So, please keep praying…it’s happening right before our eyes!
