Medina, ED021

Medina currently lives with her mother, sister and brother in one of the IDP camps in Debre Birhan. When she is able, she attends 3rd grade. The family has lived in an IDP camp since they fled their village after rebels attacked. Medina’s father disappeared in the attacks and her mother believes him to be dead. Life is difficult in the camp. Mom is illiterate and has been unable to work, so they currently survive off the meager, irregular assistance they receive in the camp. Medina and her family miss their father greatly.
