Liya lives with her parents and 2 siblings. Mom dropped out of school in 3rd grade so her options are limited. Mom works washing clothes and cleaning. Between Mom and Dad, they earn just 2,300 ETB ($43) a month and pay 1,800 ETB ($33) in rent. Family sponsorship can make a big difference in their lives providing nourishment and daycare for Liya with loving caregivers and food, medical support and job skills training for Mom- encouraging them to have hope for a better future.
