Befkadu lives in Debre Birhan. His grandmother became his caregiver after his parents passed away due to illness. She is illiterate, and they currently live in a temporary shelter. They survive on irregular aid and the little money his grandmother earns from washing clothes or cleaning. On top of these hardships, Befkadu suffers from high blood pressure and kidney problems. Family sponsorship can make a life-changing difference for Befkadu and his grandmother. By providing for their immediate basic needs during this challenging time, it will communicate Jesus’ great love for them and sow hope for their future.
