Shannon Family Update – November 2012

Life has been going at breakneck speed for our family.  Between opening the new day care, meeting teams and homeschooling the kids, there hasn’t been a whole lot of free time these past 2 months.  However, things are going well.

Our family is getting ready to soon travel to Northern Ethiopia with Christy’s Aunt and Uncle.  We can’t wait.  We’ll be visiting 12th century rock churches in Lalibela, 3rd – 4th Century Stellae in Axum, 17th Century Castles in Gonder and 13th Century Monasteries in Bahir Dar.

Here’s what else is new:

Joshua is getting opportunities to play drums on the worship team at church.  He has done great!

Micah is loving looking at birds with his Uncle Bill and Aunt Nancy.  He gets so excited to find a new one.

Caia is loving having a new round of very young babies at the Day Care to mother.

Hanna continues to grow and is thriving.  It is amazing watching her personality bloom.

Christy is super busy with homeschooling 3 kids, getting people trained at the new day care and helping Moms in handicraft production.

Jerry is preparing for another 5 week sermon series in December at International Evangelical Church during Advent.

Thank you for partnering with us and praying for us.  It means a lot.
