Meron & Emebate when first accepted into the project.

This little girl’s name is Meron.  Meron has come to life since entering the Day Care Project 2 months ago.  She came to us malnourished, lethargic and standoffish.  Not any more.

Now, Meron is full of energy and life – and a bit impish all at the same time.

Through the project we have been able to provide Meron and her mom, Emebate with an opportunity to embrace hope.  We have been able to partner with them and to see this spark of life come about in Meron.  The foundation that is being laid in her life now – is going to have huge returns, both for Meron and for Emebate.  Now, they are no longer alone, but rather someone is walking alongside them and helping a cycle to be broken not just through relief, but also through community, relationship, education and partnership.

This is where you come in.  We accept moms and children into the project before we have sponsors for them.   We do this as God opens our hearts and as He sends Moms and kids our way.  We do this as an act of trust that God will provide through His people as He speaks to their hearts and minds to sponsor.
