Welcome the Valiente Family!!

We are excited to announce the addition of The Valiente Family to the Embracing Hope Team.  They are expected to arrive in Addis Ababa in Summer 2016 where they will assist us in expanding our programs as well as improving our interventions to the families we serve.  They come to us with amazing hearts for Ethiopia and incredible gifts in the areas of family and education.

Valiente

Carlos and Natalie Valiente are from Queen Creek, Arizona, and are parents to five children – Isabella (13), Abigail (10), twins Asher and Gabriella (6), and Samuel (4).

Carlos is an associate professor of family studies at Arizona State University, where he teaches courses on marriage and family relationships and directs research projects to better understand how to promote success in early elementary school.

Natalie, a former elementary teacher, is now a full-time, homeschooling mom.

They enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, the outdoors, and are very active in ministry through their church, where Carlos serves as an elder. Their hearts became tied to Ethiopia through the adoptions of their youngest three children and they have spent the last couple of years seeking the Lord about how their family might be involved in ministering to children and families in this nation.

The entire family is very excited to live and serve in Ethiopia alongside of the EHE team.  And the EHE Team is very excited to have them joining us.
